Minimum rental age is 18 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 21.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

The driver license must be written in English alphabet.
Otherwise, the renter must provide an International Driver Permit (IDP).
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, debit, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.

Refundable security deposit

NZ$ 2500.00 

A deposit will be blocked on the customer’s credit card or charged from debit card until the end of the rental period.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the vehicle.

ENZ will be looking after the card security.

This section only concerns payment; a credit card may be required for the security deposit.

Accepted Credit/Debit cards with the main driver’s full name on them:

MasterCard Credit/Debit.

Not accepted:

• Someone else’s card (including family members)
• Any Prepaid Card
• Cheques
• Cash

Optional extras and services

Available special equipment: Phone holder, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
Underage additional drivers are also subject to a young driver fee.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

The first additional driver is allowed free of charge.
Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Additional charges will be applied.

Fuel policy

The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.

Additional information

The vehicle must be returned in an acceptably clean condition in order to avoid additional charges.

Business hours

Service outside of business hours is available by request.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 60 minutes.

All our cars insured by comprehensive insurance policy. Protected third party accidents, theft and fire. With different excess fee, please check below and choose right for yourself:

*Liability  Convenient 24/7 -$350 Excess/ Deposit – costs $32 per/day.

*Liability    Responsible 24/7 -$500 Excess / Deposit – costs      $22 per/day.

*Liability    Trustful 24/7 – $1000 Excess / Deposit – costs          $11 per/day.

*Liability     Basic 24/7 – $2500 Excess / Deposit – costs              $0 per/day.

**this amount will be freeze on your credit card when you pick up a car.

Furthermore, all our cars are equipped with AA Road Assistance for mechanical problems which is handy for a sudden problems on the road. No extra fee required.

ONLY BASIC Paket Exclusions, and have to be paid by hirer in case of event. Approximate cost are:

Windscreen replacement $1000
Minor damage $100 per panel
Structural damage per piece depends on part
Administration fee up to 45$

Exact costing need to await quote by panel beaters or other service provider.

You can cancel or extend your rent by call to us or send an email in any time.

If you wish to cancel the reservation more than 1 day (24 Hours) before your rental pick-up time, you must cancel and request a refund online you will be charge only transaction fee $25 . Once cancelled, we will credit you within approximately 5 business days. If you need to cancel during the 24-hour period prior to the scheduled pick-up time, we will reserve the rights to charge you the cancellation fee 1 day rent and transaction fee. If you do not cancel the reservation prior to the time of pick-up and the rental vehicle is not picked up on the rental date,  portion of the prepaid amount will be refunded usually we charge 2 days of rent.

If you are eligible for a refund of any payment you have made to Electrolease.nz, Electrolease.nz and it’s subsidiary will process such refund to the credit or debit card account from which the payment was originally made.

If you make a reservation  paid by cards and you no longer need to rent, please cancel your reservation as soon as possible before your scheduled pick-up time.

Security Deposit Refunds for Credit Card
 

If you pay by credit card, the full cost of the rental and the security deposit will be authorized on your card when you pick up your vehicle. When you return the vehicle, we immediately release the authorization and only charge your card the full amount of the rental.

Security Deposit Refunds for Debit Card
 

If you pay by debit card, the full cost of the rental and security deposit will be charged to your checking account when you pick up your vehicle. Once the vehicle is returned, we will refund your checking account the amount of the deposit.

The time it takes to post the refund to your account will depend on your bank. Typically, you should see a refund in approximately 5 to 10 business days. If you do not see your refund after 10 business days, please call to us, so we can review your charges with you.
